I'm no critic or anything, but reading is something I love since I was a child and so the books we find are often read by me. This book review is just to tell our website visitors how good the book is, and encourage them to read it too. Not that I think we make a difference, or that I'm very good at it,
Ik ben geen criticus of zo maar lezen is iets wat ik van kind af aan heel graag doe, dus lees ik vaak de boeken die wij vinden. Met dit boekverslagje wil ik de bezoekers van onze website vertellen hoe goed het boek is en ze aanmoedigen het ook te lezen. Niet dat ik denk dat ik er erg goed in te ben of zo hoor.
Dit boek is er alleen in het Engels maar verder naar beneden staat ook in het Nederlands waar het over gaat.
The Dance
Only Love Can Break a Heart
He is a "man" man who does all that boys dream of, he is a coast guard pilot and flies helicopters and airplanes and he thinks nothing of it.
She is a rich girl who tries to live her life as normal as possible on a farm with her father and she does it well, even in the light of her illness. She is intelligent and also likes to help people, she does a lot of charity and she loves music and plays very good piano.
When they meet and the spark is there, even their difference in breeding isn't going to keep them apart.
Together they try to make it work and they succeed to make the most of it and to forget all but their love.
It is a struggle and now and again real life buds in and that doesn't always help their relationship, but their love wins! Until he has to let her go for a power beyond him.
It is a book I have closed in my heart, I laughed with it and I cried with it but I couldn't lay it down. I had to know how it finished. It is I think the exiting dangerous parts combined with the tender loving that cast the spell. One moment you find yourself reading about rough weather fighting against sharks and storms and water, the next moment you see a human relationship developing to be jealous of, So much feeling they have for each other.
A lovely book this, beyond fiction I believe, I would like to recommend it to everyone, It keeps you at the point of your chair all the time. You want to go to the bookshop and buy the continuing story.

The Dance
Alleen liefde kan een hart breken
Hij is een mannelijke man die alles doet waar jongens van dromen, hij is piloot bij de kustwacht en vliegt helikopters en vliegtuigen en vindt dat maar heel gewoon.
Zij is een rijk meisje dat zo gewoon mogelijk probeert te leven op een boerderij met haar vader en dat doet ze goed zelfs met het oog op haar ziekte. Ze is intelligent en houdt er ook van mensen te helpen, ze doet aan veel liefdadigheid en ze houdt van muziek en speelt heel goed piano.
Als ze elkaar ontmoeten en de "vlam" slaat over is er niets meer dat hen kan scheiden, zelfs hun verschil in opvoeding niet.
Samen proberen ze er het meeste van te maken en het lukt hen alles te vergeten behalve hun liefde.
Het is een hele strijd en nu en dan komt de "de wereld" ertussen wat hun relatie niet altijd helpt maar de liefde overwint tot hij haar moet laten gaan voor een macht die hem ver te boven gaat.
Dit is een boek dat ik in mijn hart gesloten heb, Ik lachte en huilde ermee, maar kon het niet neer leggen. Ik moest weten hoe het afliep. Het is volgens mij door de opwindend gevaarlijke stukken gecombineerd met de tedere liefde dat het me in haar ban had.
Het ene moment zit je te lezen over ruw weer en vechten tegen haaien en stormen en water en het volgende moment zie je een menselijke relatie ontwikkelen om jaloers op te worden, zoveel voelen ze voor elkaar.Een heel mooi boek dat de fantasie voorbij gaat denk ik. Graag zou ik het iedereen aanbevelen. Het houdt je de hele tijd op het puntje van je stoel. Je wilt zo naar de boekwinkel om het vervolg te kopen.
