Tom DiLello writes:" I've attached two pictures of my grandfather, Walter Tuminsky who was in the 104th Infantry Division, of the 415th Regiment, of the 1st Battalion, of the 3rd Platoon, Company D to add to your online collection of images. He was in the mortar platoon and Harry Whitlatch was their medic.

Tom DiLello schrijft:" Ik heb twee foto's n mijn grootvader bijgevoegd. Walter Tuminsky was in de 104th Infanterie Divisie, Bij het 415de Regiment, 1ste Battaljon, van het 3de peloton, Compagnie D om bij jullie collectie foto's te voegen. Hij was bij het mortier peloton and Harry Whitlatch was hun medic.

5 Juni 1945, Gutenberg, Duitsland.

Eerste rij (Zittend): Tittle, Whitlatch, Chaffin, Birk, Burnham.

Middelste rij (gehurkt) Brately, Dickenson, Taylor, Elson, Hoffman, Ruhl.

Achterste rij (Staand): Ferency, Mitchner, Myrland, Orlando, Booth, Lewis, Tuminsky.

Walter Tuminsky en Harry (Doc) Whitlatch.

Mr. Daniel P. Creen Wrote to us:" My father was a Timberwolf. He was Thomas P. Creen, from Moline, Illinois. I believe he was a radio operator with a tank unit. His rank was Tech Corporal. After the war, he returned to Moline, where he apprenticed as a machinist with the Rock Island Lines railroad. He raised five kids, celebrated 53 years of marriage to his wife, Helen, and died from cancer on November 22, 1992.

Here are some pictures from his time in the army."

Meneer Daniel P. Creen schreef ons:" Mijn vader was een Timberwolf. Hij was Thomas P. Creen, uit Moline, Illinois. Ik geloof dat hij een radio operator was bij een tank unit. Zijn rang was Tech Corporal. Na de oorlog kwam hij terug naar Moline waar hij leerde voor machinist bij de Rock Island Lines railroad. Hij voedde 5 kinderen op, vierde zijn 53de trouwdag met zijn vrouw Helen, Hij stierf aan kanker op 22 November 1992.

Hier zijn wat foto's van zijn tijd bij het leger."
